Tester Terms

Thank you for testing our games (The Prince, Wildbound or both). By joining a playtest wave you agree to these Tester Terms, the Terms of Service and the EULA.

• Share freely. You may stream, record, post videos and screenshots, and talk about what you play. No NDA.
• Keep the build to yourself. Don't pass on the download, the launcher sign-in, your account or your licence. Each tester has their own access.
• It's pre-release. Expect crashes, bugs, missing features and lost saves. Development builds may break old saves and worlds between builds. Back up anything you care about.
• Developer tools. Some test builds (Wildbound's) include developer tools. Use them on your own world; they may make a world unstable.
• Feedback. For Wildbound, report bugs from the game (pause menu, then Report a bug) or on the feedback board. For The Prince, report them through its support for now. Ideas you send may be used to improve our games without payment or credit obligations, though we love to credit testers.
• Crash and bug reports are sent only with your consent and are handled under the Privacy Policy.
• Access can end. We may end a wave or a tester's access at any time, for example when a test closes or if these terms are broken. Test access doesn't include a purchased copy of the game.
