- What kind of game is Wildbound?
- A single-player creature research and survival game. You explore a living wilderness, study and tame its animals through trust, breed new lineages, and build a camp to survive. There is no compulsory story: you choose what to research and where to go.
- What platforms is it on?
- Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) PCs. It plays with mouse and keyboard or an Xbox controller.
- Is there a free demo?
- Yes. The free Windows demo gives you two hours of the full game. Your world and save carry over when you buy the game or join as a member. Install it through the DFD Launcher.
- Do I need to be online to play?
- Only once, to activate your PC through the launcher. After that the game plays offline for good; updates need the internet.
- How many PCs can I play on?
- Three at once. You can free a PC slot yourself from your account or the launcher.
- What stage of development is Wildbound in?
- Wildbound is in pre-alpha, with early access purchases available through this website. It is still being developed; read the current playable features, roadmap and patch notes before buying.
- What is the membership?
- A monthly or yearly way to support development. Every tier includes the game, and after three paid months you keep it for good. Higher tiers add test builds and a say in what gets built.
- What is the refund policy?
- Refunds within 14 days of purchase with under 2 hours played are automatic from your account page. Anything else, contact support and we will look at it.
- Who makes Wildbound?
- Wildbound at wildbound.dev is made by Dennon Forrester Developments: Kody Dennon and Terry Forrester. It is a single-player creature research and survival game for Windows PCs.
- How do taming and breeding work?
- Study an animal, learn what it eats and earn its trust through patient encounters. Up to two bonded companions can travel with you. At camp, breeding passes traits such as size, colour, horns and living light into new lineages.
- Does Wildbound have multiplayer or co-op?
- Wildbound is a single-player game. The current game is designed around exploring and researching the wilderness on your own, with up to two bonded animal companions.
